It will interest our dear reader that you can use your smartphone and other gadgets at the same time plug to external source of energy without having any effect on your battery life spans. Kindly read today write-up and get informed about your battery and charging.
First misconception (battery have memory). Just has the old believe that our phones and laptops batteries has memory that you have to train to hold charges, the longer you plug the phone or battery the more risk you expose it to. This is a wrong assumption, some will never plug their phone until it is drain, some will not even plug their phone if it is over 50%,some believe frequent charging damages battery, this is not but false. It is called smartphone, it will stop charging the moment the circuit send a signal to the charging terminal to stop charging, so my dear, feel free to charge your phone any time any day.
Second misconception (off-brand charger), the ghost believe that is rampant and common mentality carried by average individual is, using charger that doesn't belong to the brand of your phone will damage your battery, this is quite interesting, as most engineer will even tell you not to use Nokia pin mouth charger to charge your techno pin mouth charger or blackberry charger to charge your techno C8 charger because it can spoil or reduce the life span of the battery, this is wrong, no charger can do your mobile battery harm, it can only reduce the rate of charging as you may experience slower charging due to differences in out and input of a charger.
Another misconception is(charging your phone overnight will harm your battery life span).
Many believe plugging your phone overnight will harm the life span or reduce the charge holding capacity of the mobile battery. This has no correlation on life span of battery, smartphones are smart to know when to stop charging and when to charge.
But it is advisable to leave your phone throughout the night uncharged between 40-80% as this help to maintain the circuit of the battery.
Furthermore, many believe if you get a new device, you need to charge it up to 100% beige using it, this is absolutely wrong, many devices function effectively at 40-80% as charge, you can buy your device and actually drain it, it has no effect on your battery life span.
Another funny misconception is putting your battery in a freezer will increase the life span. Room temperature are the best condition for your battery, Li-on batteries are repulsive to cold, and increasing the temperature will do the phone more harm than good..
